Martha Herrera-Lasso has a PhD in Performance Studies from UC Berkeley, an MA in Theatre Studies from UBC (Vancouver) and a BA in Playwriting from the National University in Mexico City (UNAM). She has worked as a playwright, a translator and a dramaturg across North America, and is interested in reimagining the region as an artist and a scholar. She currently lives and works in Mexico City as an Independent Dramaturg and teaches at the School of Theater of the National University in Mexico (UNAM).
